The man was amazing! The weather was not the best! The people were awesome! I was home again! This video is of my camp this year. Very nice!

2007 Burning Man

My mother made this hat and a matching dress for Burning Man 2007. I loved wearing it because it was original plus made it with love. My mom rocks!

2007- The Burn! Amazing!

My first sunrise at Burning Man 2007. Little did I know that my life would change! I had found my new home. My camp arrived Tuesday afternoon and the city was jumping. We stayed awake all night loving life and just before the sunrise I tried to sleep. I was too wired! Adam & I jumped on our bikes a started out to the Portal. It was about three miles. We made it there just as the sun was coming up. It was amazing! I meet Will for the first time and my sweet Spanky was there too! Spanky was being a rebel! He climbed to the VIP lounge and let us in through a secret door in the wall. We got to lounge like rock stars. The view was awesome. You could see the city and the Man! That year a jerk decided to burn the man the first night. What a loser! It makes me cry just thinking about it! He got arrested!

I was loving the playa and never wanted to leave. We were all sitting on the top of the Sapphire Port Hole and my sister took this great shot. Spanky & Kiki worked on building the port hole and Spanky called it the butthole. LOL I love that boy. We watched the sunrise. It was amazing and unforgettable morning. About an hour later it was 100 degrees and we all had to walk back to camp about three miles! It was the longest hottest walk I have ever made in my life. This is my favorite photos. Burn baby burn! That week changed my life! This is a part of my family for life. Yeah

2007 Burning Man

My girlfriend Wendy always shared Burning Man stories with me and I loved them. She told me that I was a natural burner. I planned for a year my first burn with Wendy,Adam & me. Wendy did all of the planning and showed me the ropes. I really wanted my sister Emilie to go but she had a wedding to go to and had to work. I was sad but understood how it was and that sometimes you have to do the grown up thing. I was so excited. We picked up the RV and than had to load all our stuff in it. I was the organizer and Wendy & Adam brought everything to the RV down a super steep hill from their house. I was almost done packing when I walked into the bike rack! Blood was everywhere and I had a killer scare on my nose for my first burn. Wendy and Adam were great they took me to the house and put ice on my face and Wendy ask me how many fingers she was holding up. She was great just like a mom. Sweet. I love my Wendy. This put us behind given that they wanted to make sure I was OK before we got on the road. While I was laying down with a bag of ice on my nose and forehead I called my sister. When she picked up she ask were I was because she was at the ATM pulling money out for Burning Man! I told her we had not left because of my challenge with the bike rack. She came right over and ended up going to Burning Man without her work shifts even covered! Freaking awesome. Plus she was coming off a fast! Wild how life works. In this photo the man in burning right behind us. It was amazing and I new I had found my second home in Black Rock City. I am so happy I was with my sis and many loved friends.

Burning Man Part 1

My crew at Burning Man 2008. It was a wild ride this year. Many dust storms and lots of beer drinking. This year we lived in a village and lets just say that in 2009 we will not be. It is pretty cool to show up in Black Rock City in the middle of the night and build your home for a week. Emilie and I showed up and the camp was already built. Our camp freaking rocked. I can not wait to go back home! There is a connection to BRC that I can not explain. You have to go to really get it! My camp is always open to you! Kiss
